A Creative & Cultural District is a mixed-use area in a community where there is a high concentration of arts and cultural facilities and events. The district reflects the community’s unique cultural heritage, showcases the region’s arts and culture, increases social engagement, and positions the community as a cultural tourism destination. In this interactive session, participants will explore the impact of arts and culture on local economies throughout Oregon and what communities are currently doing to build arts and culture into the core of their identities.
