Institutional memberships are for museums and receive the following member benefits:

• Listing in the member museums directory on the OMA website
• Discount rate for up to five staff members (paid staff, volunteers, or board members) to all OMA events including the annual conference, workshops, webinars; and free access to recordings of past webinars
• Free, unlimited postings to the OMA job board
  
• Access to member forum
• Your museum photographs featured on the OMA website and promotional materials

OMA Institutional members should qualify as a museum by the definition of the International Council of Museums: "A museum is a non-profit, permanent institution in the service of society and its development, open to the public, which acquires, conserves, researches, communicates and exhibits the tangible and intangible heritage of humanity and its environment for the purposes of education, study and enjoyment."
