The Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education (OJMCHE) seeks a Marketing Coordinator. This position is for a professional individual to create and develop engaging marketing deliverables that reflect OJMCHE’s mission. As the Marketing Coordinator, this person must be proficient in creating social media content and other marketing materials, analyzing social media metrics, and maintaining and updating the Museum’s website. This position is part of OJMCHE’s collective bargaining unit, ILWU Local 5.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce a variety of digital and print materials, including social media graphics, guest services print collateral, and informational handouts. Fulfill design and production requests from the Marketing and Communications Manager in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create and publish engaging content tied to Museum events, programs, and other related cultural content. Curate and share relevant content from cultural partners, reciprocal program partners, and community organizations.
- Perform ongoing website maintenance including updating events, photography, refreshing copy to reflect current information, and collaborating with senior staff to populate content as needed.
- Coordinate with contract web developer to ensure the ongoing health and functionality of the museum’s website.
- Prepare and coordinate newsletters and e-blast communications as directed by Marketing and Communications Manager. Support fundraising and membership campaigns.
- Track, compile, and report analytics across website, social media, and email communications platforms.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to messages as appropriate, and stay current on platform trends and algorithm changes.
- Develop and maintain reference guides for staff on web-related processes and tools.
- Ensure organizational profiles on external platforms are accurate and up to date.
- Attend staff meetings and other internal and external meetings.
- Other occasional duties as assigned.

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ marketing and social media experience, preferably in museum setting.
- Proficiency in Wordpress, Canva, Emma, and social media platforms.
- Graphic Design experience is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $22/hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, up to 15 hours per week
- Benefits: Paid time off and 401k plan
