We are seeking a dedicated Museum Curator to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage our museum and Bungalow Theatre.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Train museum staff and volunteers in museum procedures and services.
- Create exhibits using museum collections.
- Write grants for exhibits and to further the work of the museum.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the public.
- Maintain museum website
- Catalog collection materials
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in history or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in museum or a related field and be able to apply these principles to provide enhanced access to our museum. This position offers a unique chance to contribute to the preservation and presentation of cultural heritage, working across various sections of our museum and Bungalow theater.
