IFPDA Internship (paid) for Prints and Drawings at Portland Art Museum

The Portland Art Museum has been awarded a grant from the International Fine Print Dealers Association Foundation to fund one paid summer internship for 2017. The eight-week internship offers a rare opportunity to work directly with the prints of the Portland Art Museum, a collection of graphic arts spanning more than 500 years. The intern will report to the curator of prints and drawings and will gain valuable experience in cataloguing, researching, and handling works of art on paper.


The starting date for this role is negotiable, but should be on or after June 5, 2017. Hours are part time (21 hours per week) for eight weeks. Compensation is budgeted at $17.85 per hour, as grant funding is $3,000 in total for this internship role. The role include a variety of perks such as free Museum admission, Gift Shop discounts, and screenings at the NW Film Center. Please see our website for more details.
