This exciting one-day workshop brings museum professionals straight to the source. Join Chachalu staff as they present, lead discussions, and provide technical information on how the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde approach collections care, programming and outreach. During the workshop, you will:
- Experience the history and culture of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
- Learn important resources and tips to consider when approaching Tribes about museum programming and exhibit collaboration using Grand Ronde as one example.
- Examine a tribal perspective on caring for collections. Did we mention you'll be learning this while touring Chachalu’s new collections storage space?
- Enjoy a traditional lunch by Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde.
